On October 7, we held a medical seminar and a charity banquet at the residence of the Ambassador of Greece. (photos posted)

Proceeds from this medical seminar and a charity banquet will be utilised for the scholarship to dispatch Dr. Takehiko Sakai, a surgeon of breast oncology recommended by the Cancer Institute Hospital of Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research to Agioss Savvas Anticancer Hospital in Athens, Greece to strengthen medical exchange between Greece and Japan.
After Dr. Sakai comes back to Japan, it is expected that the experience and result of this medical exchange will be utilized in both countries.
H.E. Mr. Constantin CAKIOUSSIS, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic gives the opening address.
Dr. Shinji Ono, Deputy Hospital Director and Center Chief of Breast Oncology, the Cancer Institute Hospital of Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research gives a lecture on present and future medical treatment for breast cancer.
