JAPAN & JAMAICA Charity Day at the Embassy of Jamaica

On 27th May 2023, QoLF co-organised with the Embassy of Jamaica a cooking class and sale by the resident chef of the Jamaican Ambassador’s residence.
The proceeds from this charity event, along with the proceeds from the charity medical seminar held at the Jamaican Ambassador’s Residence, will be used to invite a doctor recommended by the Embassy of Jamaica to Japan.

On 18th May 2023, the QoLF hosted a charity medical seminar at the Jamaican Ambassador’s residence.
The seminar was a charitable activity aimed at inviting Jamaican doctors to Japan. The QoLF invited its Medical Advisor, Dr H. Kitamura, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo, and Dr Yoshihiro Kitamura, Specially Appointed Professor of Nippon Medical School (brother of Dr H. Kitamura), a specialist in viruses, to deliver lectures on their respective fields of expertise.

Ambassador Richards expressed her gratitude to President Suzuki for QOLF’s fundraising activities for her country.

At the hall of the Embassy of the United Mexican States, Dr. Sumito Ogawa, Associate Professor, Department of Geriatric Medicine, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo/Department of Geriatric Medicine, The University of Tokyo Hospital, gave a lecture “Age-related diseases and frailty with its prevention” and gave a presentation on medical exchange at Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Health Sciences and Nutrition.
